Launch of MAA10, Chennai

Digital Connexion marked a significant milestone with the inauguration of its cutting-edge MAA10 data center in Chennai. The two-day event transpired on January 11 and 12, 2024, spotlighting key investors who served as keynote speakers, including Arun Bright from Jio, Arpit Aggarwal from Brookfield Asset Management, and Serene Nah from Digital Realty.

 

January 11 - Launch Day:

 

The inauguration featured keynote speeches from each investor, offering insights into the transformative potential of the new data center. CB Velayuthan, Digital Connexion's CEO, also delivered a compelling speech. The day included a soft launch video unveiling the MAA10 data center and concluded with a sit-down dinner. The event was attended by a diverse audience comprising customers, partners, and internal representatives from each partner company.

The Hon'ble Minister of Information Technology and Digital Services, Dr. Palanivel Thiagarajan expressed his appreciation for the collaboration between entities like Jio, Digital Realty, and Brookfield in establishing Chennai as a data center hub.

Dr. Palanivel Thiagarajan acknowledged the event's importance, stating, "As India undergoes digital transformation, Chennai stands prominently as the capital of SaaS in the country. I anticipate a significant upswing in the establishment and expansion of data centers to meet the demands of our increasingly digitized society."
