Chennai: Digital Connexion, a three-way joint venture between Brookfield Asset Management, Reliance Industries and Digital Realty, on Friday launched the first phase of its first data center campus in India, in Ambattur, Chennai. The investment into this facility remains undisclosed.

In July 2023, Reliance invested around Rs 370 crore to enter an existing joint venture, where Brookfield and Digital Realty were partners.

Post this, the three companies now own 33%  each  in the venture.

The first phase of the data center called MAA10 will offer 20MW of IT load and is part of a larger campus located across 10-acre and with a capability to offer up to 100 megawatt (MW) critical IT load capacity. Digital Connexion is also building a 40 MW data centre in Mumbai.
